Where do you come from in Belgium and where are you living now?

 

I come from Beauraing, but I currently live in Noville-sur-Mehaigne, close to Eghezee, in the Namur area.

 

What do you really miss from Belgium when you travel?

 

I miss the human dimension of things and the human size of places. In Belgium, everything is close by and people are easily accessible.

 

Your favourite place to relax?

 

I love walking in the Ardennes to recharge my batteries, there is nothing better than being surrounded by nature.

 

Your favourite Belgian dish?

 

I love meatballs in tomato sauce with real chips and fresh mayonnaise!

 

If you were a Belgian artist?

 

I would be a crazy painter – Belgium has many – Magritte for example, for his anti-conformism.

 

What does make Belgium / Belgians special?

 

Belgians are visionary and avant-gardist, yet they remain humble in spite of all their great qualities.
